Trees play a vital role in our everyday lives. They improve the quality of the air we breathe and the water we drink. They beautify our streets and shade our children. So when natural disasters strike, the loss of trees is much more than meets the eye.
The Community Tree Recovery Program was created out of this great need for trees in the wake of natural disasters, and began by providing tree relief to the Gulf Coast following Hurricane Katrina.
Help restore communities ravaged by natural disasters by donating to our general Community Tree Recovery Fund. This fund allows us to be prepared to provide trees for distribution in communities when our forest partners on the ground are ready. Your donated trees will be distributed or planted in these disaster ridden areas where they will be nurtured and cared for.
